Mechanism of action: PEG (Macrogol) 4000 is an inert polymer which is not absorbed and not metabolized. Thanks to the affinity between water and PEG (Macrogol) 4000, Isipeg Oral Solution softens the stool, facilitating its evacuation without causing cramps, abdominal pain or rectal burning.

Indications: chronic constipation and in cases of occasionally irregular bowel.
