Isipeg Children Suppositories is a disposable medical device for rectal use, formulated as suppositories based on PEG 4000 and honey indicated to facilitate the evacuating activity in case of constipation.

Mechanism of action: PEG (Macrogol) 4000 is an inert polymer with lubricating and emollient activities able to exert a laxative action thanks to its isosmotic mechanism which, helps to soften the fecal mass by recalling water in the stool and, at the same time, to promote evacuation, without irritating the mucous membrane. Honey is a polymer with mucus-like properties that can protect the rectal mucosa during the passage of stool.

Indications: treatment of constipation either in presence of irritable colon or haemorrhoids.
